Deborah Santiago, Excelencia in Education vice president of policy and research, will participate as a panelist on "Developing an Activist Research Agenda".
This session will be an interactive session in which panelists are asked a series of questions by the moderator and then by members of the audience. Questions from the moderator will focus on how did panelists develop their agenda over time; what methods have the employed; how do they integrate their research activities with their activist activities; how do they integrate their research with their teaching and/or service commitments; what the potential costs of pursuing this agenda. The other panelists will be Estela Bensimon and Bill Tierney.
