On August 9, 2011 Excelencia in Education, working with California-based partners, releasedLatino College Completion: California.

California is the fourth state where Excelencia in Education's national initiative, Ensuring America's Future by Increasing Latino College Completion has focused attention on the current equity gap in Latino college completion and the impact of selected effective strategies to increase college attainment.

The briefing was held with support from Pacific Gas and Electric Company and in cooperation with national partner State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) at their annual Higher Education Policy Conference in San Francisco.
