Of all part-time instructional faculty in 2003, Hispanic women represented 11% of faculty in foreign languages and 8% in education. Hispanic males represented 7% of faculty in foreign languages, 7% in economics, and 4% in occupationally specific programs and political science.

Aug, 2005 Although the percentage of Latino students receiving financial aid for college is at an all-time high, Latinos receive the lowest average federal aid awards of any racial or ethnic group, according to a new report released August 10, 2005, by Excelencia in Education and the Institute for Higher Education Policy.
