Special Assistant to the President & Board Liaison (DC): At Excelencia, the Special Assistant to the President is part of the executive team and directly supports the President with special projects and events, internal and external communications, and provides executive administrative support, as needed. As Board Liaison this team member directly supports activities and interactions by the President and CEO with the Board of Directors and serves as the point of contact to the Board (and their staff) with timely communications about business and committee meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Community of Practice Manager (DC): Reporting to and collaborating closely with the Director of Institutional Programs, you will be an integral member of the Institutional Programs team, driving the evolution of Growing What Works and supporting the success of programs serving Latino students nationwide. This role requires building meaningful relationships with program leaders, understanding their unique challenges, and thinking critically to guide them to develop actionable solutions. Your work will focus on three key areas: managing the database while providing direct support to institutions within Excelencia's network, organizing learning sessions that address critical topics for program practitioners, and collaborating on strategic initiatives across Excelencia to enhance its capacity to help institutions scale their impact.
Evidence-Based Practices Manager: As the Evidence-Based Practices Manager, you will be an integral member of the Institutional Programs team. You will join a movement to enable higher education institutions to accelerate Latino student success by promoting Latino student achievement, conducting analyses to inform educational policies, and advancing institutional practices while collaborating with those committed and ready to close the equity gap in Latino college completion. Reporting to and working closely with the Director for Institutional Programs, you will play a role in bringing attention to evidence-based practices that work for Latino students in higher education.
