• There are now 571 HSIs.
• HSIs are located in 28 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• Two-thirds of HSIs are public institutions and the majority of HSIs are 4-year institutions.
• 28 out of 30 Seal of Excelencia certified institutions are now HSIs.
