Overview

The overall mission and goal of this program is to increase the number of students in the service area who have access to and complete an accredited bachelor’s degree. In order to achieve this mission, the bachelor’s program was designed with certain characteristics. The competency-based model enables students to receive credit for previous coursework, as well as military and work-related training. All of our courses have an online option, which facilitates greater convenience and accessibility. The measures used to measure success of the program the graduation rates.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership (BASOL)

Program Description

The overall mission of BASOL is to increase the number of students who have access and complete an accredited bachelor’s degree. In order to achieve this mission, the program focuses on affordability, accreditation, and accessibility. The cost of the BASOL program is much less than that of traditional 4-year programs. Their competency-based model enables students to receive credit for previous coursework, as well as military and work-related training. All courses have an online option, which facilitates greater convenience and accessibility. The program enables students to become more competitive in the job market and succeed in graduate programs.

Outcome

BASOL program student's time to completion is as follows: 87% of students have graduated within 2 years, while 97% graduate within 3 years.
Fall to Fall persistence rate of BASOL program students in 2019 was 72%. Enrollment: 329 students were enrolled in Organizational Leadership.
