• There are 569 HSIs. HSIs are institutions that have 25% or more undergraduate full time equivalent Hispanic enrollment.
• In the past 10 years, the number of HSIs has increased by 93%.
• HSIs represent 18% of higher education institutions.
• HSIs are present in 30 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• 41% of HSIs are public 2-year institutions.
• 56% of HSIs are 4-year institutions.
