2018 Examples of Excelencia In 2018 we received 139 total nominations from 27 states, DC, and Puerto Rico. Of these nominated programs, Excelencia selected 21 finalists. The four programs below were selected by a selection committee of higher education leaders, funders, professionals, and stakeholders for their evidence of effectiveness in the ways their institutions and communities serve Latinos.
