Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs): 2018-19 Fact Sheet

In 2018-19, there were 539 HSIs located in 27 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. These institutions represented 17% of all institutions of higher education and enrolled 67% of Latino undergraduates. In this fact sheet, we provide a summary of HSIs, Emerging HSIs, and HSIs with Graduate Programs.
