Growth: HSIs, Emerging HSIs, Graduate HSIs, 1994-95 to 2013-14

This graphic shows the growth in HSIs, Emerging HSIs, and HSIs with graduate programs from 1994-95 to 2013-14.

• The number of HSIs increased by 220 institutions, Emerging HSIs increased by 150 institutions, and HSIs with graduate programs increased by108 institutions.
• HSIs with graduate programs experienced a higher rate of growth (225%), than HSIs (116%) and Emerging HSIs (103%).
