• There are 559 HSIs. HSIs are institutions that have 25% or more undergraduate full-time equivalent (FTE) Hispanic enrollment.
• The number of HSIs has decreased for the first time in two decades.
• 23 out of 24 Seal of Excelencia certified institutions are now HSIs.
• Two-thirds of HSIs are public institutions and the majority of HSIs are 4-year institutions.
